Haryana LWF Contributions (Per Employee)

Contributor Amount Frequency Note
Employee ₹204 Half-yearly (per 6-month period) 0.2% of monthly salary, capped at ₹34/month (max ₹204/half-year). Rates are CPI-indexed annually (effective January 1, 2025).
Employer ₹408 Half-yearly (per 6-month period) Twice the employee's contribution, capped at ₹68/month per employee (max ₹408/half-year).

Applicability Threshold

Factories and establishments employing 10 or more workers under the Factories Act, 1948 or the Haryana Shops & Commercial Establishments Act.

Due Dates

  • July 15 (for January–June contributions)
  • January 15 (for July–December contributions)

Exemption Categories

  • Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961
  • Employees of establishments exempted by notification from the State Government

Registration Required: Employers in Haryana must register with the State Labour Welfare Board and remit contributions half-yearly.
